Tempered Glass QC Report

One record for the whole shift: fragmentation testing scored automatically by weight (ANSI Z97.1, with your internal QC limit) or fragment count (EN 12150 / ASTM C1048), plus bow, roller wave, surface compression, and the visual check. Enter your readings in any unit; the tool evaluates each result and prints a clean black-and-white report. Saving to your account and printing are part of LiteSpec Pro.

Shift & document

One report per shift, covering every batch you test today. Company and location are required; the date and time stamp themselves when you save or print.

Fragmentation tests

ANSI Z97.1

Add a row for every break-test. Each row carries its own batch and thickness (mm or in) and is scored automatically; the time stamps itself when you add a row.

Bow / warp tests

ASTM C1048

Allowable overall bow comes straight from the ASTM C1048 Table 2 lookup, by glass thickness (3-5, 6, 8, 10, or 12-19 mm) and the longest edge dimension, so both thickness and length matter. Pick the length and bow-reading units below; they are independent (enter length in inches and bow in mm if you like), and the allowable shows in the same unit as your bow reading, using the standard's published value for that unit.

Roller wave

ASTM C1048

One row per measurement point. Pick the type, the limit prefills the common spec (PVm roller wave 0.005 in; leading / trailing edge 0.008 in) and stays editable. Readings in inches; passes at or below the limit.

Surface compression

ASTM C1048

Pick the glass type and the ASTM C1048 limit is applied automatically: fully tempered at or above 69 MPa (10,000 psi); heat-strengthened between 24 and 52 MPa (3,500 to 7,500 psi). The Ref column is for traceability (glass ID, lot, position) when there is no work order.

Visual inspections

One row per batch. Check under proper lighting for scratches, digs / pits, tong marks, edge nips, roller distortion, anisotropy / iridescence, coating defects, and bubbles / inclusions; note anything found in the comment.

Disposition & sign-off

Explain the call for the shift, what was accepted, rejected, or reworked. The unit counts and pass rate above are calculated for you, so this is a plain-language record rather than a single pass or fail. A batch can have some units rejected and the rest released.

The sign-off date and time are stamped automatically when you save or print.
